I guess they were satisfied and didn't feel the need to check the passenger side (it was there too). They looked that system over pretty thoroughly - much more than I expected them to do. During the test, the shop manager comes out to me and told me that he and the techs thought I was an undercover agent for CARB, because (in his words) the air injection system "just doesn't go missing" off the car. I chucked to myself, played dumb about the missing parts, and then reassured him that I wasn't working for CARB. Dave
